Genitourinary (Interventions): SN to instruct patient on bladder training program, including timed voiding, SN to assess urinary pattern, including frequency, urgency, hesitancy, nocturia, and incontinence, SN to change Foley catheter with ___ Fr ___ cc catheter every ___ beginning on ___, SN to irrigate Foley with 100–250 cc of sterile normal saline as needed for blockage/leakage, when ordered/clinically indicated, SN to change suprapubic tube with ___ Fr ___ cc catheter every ___ beginning on ___, SN to irrigate suprapubic tube with 100–250 cc of sterile normal saline as needed for blockage/leakage, when ordered/clinically indicated, SN to instruct Patient/Caregiver on signs/symptoms of UTI to report to MD/SN, SN may obtain urinalysis and urine C&S as ordered/indicated for signs/symptoms of UTI.
